Ghost – Visionary who built up one of the most renowned studios in Hammanskraal

Born in Kuruman on the 8^th of October then later moving to Hammanskraal with his family, Ronald Shima, better known by his stage name Ghost is a Founding member, Artist, producer, self-taught engineer and President at QCI Entertainment.

Ghost’s love for music and his vision with co-founder Global (Thato Mathabate) drove him to single handedly raised the capital to build one of the best studios in his neibourhood and went on to inspire and give voices to many local talents, QCR (Quick Cash Records)  was born.  

In 2010, QCR along with Multi-hands production hosted Miss Teen Temba 2010 which was a great success they went on to hold a talent show as well. Ghost and his QCR label mates performed at the 2010 FIFA world cup fan park opening game as the main acts. Ghost went on to release singles while managing QCR. Ghost went on and changed the company QCR to QCIE (Quick Cash Intrudar Entertainment) as the company grew and started doing events, video editing etc.

Ghost released his hood anthem “2 Jobs” in 2012 which was a fan favourite. The rapper/label founder released several more singles in 2014 including ‘We Down’ amongst the others.

More recently Ghost and his QCIE label mates have been busy hosting a string of hip hop shows where they have been giving themselves as well as other artists a platform to get their music heard,
